Adaptative mesh for 3D complex parts
The mesh of bth the parts and the medium (void or air) between them is multi-scale: we take a medium resolution away from contac areas, and a very finen resolution in the sphere-plane contact regions that are very small.
This mesh was then used for simulations in weakly coupled mechanical vibrations and electromagnetics.
